Geometry node recording
I hope geometry node is recorded even when modifying without using geometry node. For example, if we modify an object by using modifier, constraint, or just a normal material change, they get recorded as geometry node also so that we can later change those modification items parameters (ex. normal material change) with geometry node, and also we can learn how we should create the chart of geometry node for our creation. I hope I can convey my idea properly...

To my understanding, the purpose of geometry nodes is to "program" the geometry, which is by design very different from the manual modeling process.
That sounds like maya where everything you do is a node in the hypergraph. I think blender is many many years away from being in a position to truly go down such a path.
I don't think "recording" is the best way to do it... Some operation doesn't make sense in geometry nodes, such as extruding/scaling a specific face/edge.
Maybe implement existing modifiers and pack them into node groups and store them in a library. This way they can be added easily when you need them.
@toby I assume your point is "a specific face/edge", I guess, since you can extrude/scale the object. I am not sure about that since I am just starting to learn geometry node. However, even you don't use geometry node, there are cases some nodes are already made when you open the geometry node window. So I hope that kind of thing happens in more operations. As for "a specific face/edge, maybe when you specifically select that face/edge and open the geometry node, you might be able to see the geometry node of that face/edge, don't you think? It can be kind of like records of Undo History, but more organized.
This would give blender the same "delete history" headaches that Maya has. I prefer for Blender to stay destructive by default and procedural when you actually want to be 100% procedural. There are plans to add widgets in the 3d viewport that are connected to the currently selected geometry node. This should allow you to solve whatever problem you are trying to solve with "geometry node recording".
