Uncovered bug in blender three point 2.1

I imported a GITF file and hit alt P to unparent all the objects in the gitf and then when I went to move them they moved other objects around it as if proportional editing were on... but light wasn't even on, on the icon I turned it on and turned it off but that didn't work so I just made the proportional editing cursor smaller and I could get back to my work
