Nice touch, but the placement should be in the metadata panel, not in the output one
Probably worth including "All rights reserved" instead of "Undefined"
* @Jason van Gumster * Interesting. The natural licence for a created image is All Rights Reserved, but not sure if Blender should be stating this by default.
If a creator doesn't realise the EXIF data carries a restrictive licence, and releases the image with a separately stated CC licence, there could be an unintended conflict.
I'm not sure if there's an order of precedence if a work carries two different licences.
(Definitely up-voting the suggestion though!)
Well it would need EXIF data to be written. Afaik metadata of jpg, png, exr are only readable from Blender. So You should chagne Your proposal to more general "EXIF metadata" or something like that.
I can see Blender metadata as a "comment" in a jpg from GIMP. So it is at least readable, but not standardized.
Hmm, there is no license field in EXIF format, but there is "Copyright" asci string field, so that could be eventually utilized.
