2.8 GP Keyframe caddy for replacement animation
Will GP ever have a window to see all the frames on a layer for easy re-use such as replacement (lip sync). Flash had an addon "Keyframe Caddy"
youtu.be/ozEF3AvYiVI <<jazza site, sorry for the advertisement
Toon boom products still have a drawing selection window and so does Open toonz.
In GP you can implement it at the GP layer level, if you click on the left of the layer name (where an icon can be) it will expand to a grid of all the drawings for that level (like a mouth lip sycn). you would drag over to the drawing that you want and when you release the mouse it will insert that drawing into the frame you are in on your timeline.
Thank you for any comments.

Sort of like a dope-sheet, but for GP?
@ammusionist: No, I use the dope sheet now to copy frame 2 mouth to another frame. But that is just a dot, i can't see the drawing on the dopesheet. I want to see all of the drawings on that layer (miniaturized) on a pick box.
@caricanimation: Then you really need to put together a mock-up in Blender's interface that shows how you think it should work.
@Jason van Gumster:
You would click on the level and it would expand a window with all your drawings. You move your mouse over and when you release (or click) it would insert that drawing into the set frame. (30 in this instance)
Here is how it would look in a snapshot ( I mocked in 2.79 but intend for 2.80)
