Simple Icon Indicator For Cut Through and Various Other On and Off Options

I am aware when you select cut through with z on knife it says if it is on or off down at the bottom right. However, to look from where you are to the bottom right is a bit distracting not at first of course but if you use it often enough it can be. I was thinking maybe have an icon color change or the icon changes so you do not have to look down and make sure it registered your keypress. Nothing drastic just something subtle. Same with any other thing you have to look down at the bottom to make sure it registered a keypress. You may think how can a computer not register a keypress. Let's just say it can in many regards.
