Feature Request: 2.79B compiled with Cuda 10 for RTX cards
Hi,
Blender 2.8 is really great. But at the moment to risky to use for real production. But a Geforce RTX offers the best calculation power available.
Please compile a 2.79B with Cuda that makes it works with a RTX. It does not need to include it in a automatic detecting way which Hardware you have. Just a second installer which just works with RTX cards.

Or, you know, folks could just wait a few months.
Alternatively, any Blender user could recompile Blender with CUDA 10 now . Of course, Nvidia has a bug in version 10 that messes with alpha transparency, but the point is that you could have this now if you really wanted it. If you can spend the money on an RTX-capable card, why not spend the time to follow the instructions on making a build?

And the connection between buying a RTX grafic card and knowing how to compile Blender is? .... ???

Not all people know how to compile blender with Cuda 10.
There are 2.79b build with Cuda 10 out there. But can can trust them, not containing a virus? What happens if criminal people use this situation to put a virus in it? It could damage the reputation of Blender.
That's why an official 2.79 release with cuda 10 would have a lot of advantages. (For example a 2.79C version)
