Edit Review on Extensions Platform

Can we get the ability to edit reviews on the extensions website? I reviewed something thinking I could change it later.

Agreed. It should be possible to post follow-up reviews—ideally without a rating, or replacing the previous one—since opinions can change significantly between releases.

Editing is tricky, it can lead to abuse.

Deleting a review should be possible though, we had a meeting yesterday and it was added to the roadmap.

Hello to the developers as at Blender 4.50 initial release. I noted today this post on you tube: youtube.com/watch and another post from mid 2024 on the Blender developer forum that the file extension (.dae) is to be removed due to a lack of owner development, and potential security issues . I appreciate all of those types of reasons to discontinue an extension.

I work across AutoDesk Revit and Trimble SketchUp Pro fdor architecture. The (.dae) format has proved invaluable working between Bender and SketchUp Pro.
Currently I have Blender 4.50 initial release. I have been trying to get the dxf extension format to work and have found it will not, and oi in the past when it has, it has proved frustrating in the blender workspace. With no (.dae) this means that I cannot see a way to get Blender content into SketchUp Pro. This is very frustrating. you might askl why use SU Pro and it has oftent do with easy measuring of things which is a weakness with Blender although I do appreciate the program is not aimed at CAD stuff etc. Removing (.dae) is going to be like AutoDesk removing the ability, for me to use (.fbx) to export content from Revit so that it can be bought into (Blender or other programs) seamlessly with no scaling issues or other problems and this is hugely important to me. Currently, I am able to export any 3d model from Revit which lets me access my own content library for work, or external web content bought into a Revit project, and export it in (fbx) when then will open seamlessly and correctly scaled with no issues at all, into Blender. You can imagine how much of benefit that is in savings of time and fidelity and effort. Interoperability seems to be one of those really key strengths of Blender which tries to play nice with others - something which Revit otherwise, deliberately does not do. So these issues about how to work easily and usefully across multiple formats will always I think be a very big and crucial aspect . Losing (.dae) is a major set back for me. thankyou
