Always display Vertices
Good afternoon . Sometimes it is required that the Vertices are always displayed regardless of the mode in which you work. Is it possible to enable this functionality?

Perhaps there's already a way to do this (anyone?), but if not, it would be useful. Yesterday was in editing mode. Was in edge-mode, because I wanted to move all the vertices along a line of edges at once, but it was the vertice placement which was important. However, in edge mode, I couldn't see them. Had to constantly flip between edge and vertice mode. OPs suggestion would have been better.
