"Silhouette matcapish" toggle
View silhouette is very usefull not just to sculpting but also for animation. I think would be great to have a really quick and easy way to toggle silhouette, a button and/or a shortcut. And I don't think creating a material or changing matcaps is the best way to go (is an option, but is not fast).
The idea came reading this: devtalk.blender.org/t/call-for-content-matcaps/737/338
(I couldn't figure out how to put a gif here, sorry)

If I understand correctly, this is already possible In 2.8, you can set viewport shading to single color with flat lighting with the color of your choice for both the background and the models. Just need shading presets and we're golden.
Already possible with the viewport's shading options. I think it's even more flexible, you can really change anything you want and it doesn't require to ship blender with a picture file.
(Yeh the last one is only meant to kill your eyes.)
really that it is possible chage shading/color - single/black, yes its not fast, with matcap its more fast but not jet, the most easy is a new layout (workspace) with this setting, or add matcap to quick favorites, make a macro, action like photoshop or i dont believe does dificult make and script to draw buttom in header to do this like maya!
the best thing would be that this option is internal to the program
You can switch between workspaces with ctrl+pageUp and ctrl+pageDown

I think I heard Pablo saying something about this being available using NPR? Not sure. Maybe he could chime in and clarify it. I might be confused with something else.
