"Base Color" problems to fix

  1. It defaults to gray instead of white. Since this seems to be a personal preference issue, there should be configurable default for this color.
  2. When a texture is connected to the input node, the color picker disappears, despite it still having an effect on exported FBX materials. The color picker should remain visible when a texture is connected... OR....
  3. If there is no Base Color control when a texture is connected, then the exports should use pure white as the material's base color, to avoid getting an unexpected tinting of whatever color it's set to behind the texture (with no effect in Blender).

This reads like a bug to me.
