Point / edge slide auto merge
When working on topology with the point/edge slide tools it would be neat if you could merge points by sliding them together, rather than having to do a separate merge-by-distance operation. The Weld tool in Lightwave works like this. Conceptual mockup below.

There's already an automerge, does it miss anything you need?
doesnt the auto merge tool already do that? Its the small little icon in the top right corner besides the options dropdown (in Edit Mode)
