Split and Cap when using the loop cut or knife tool.

Coming from MODO there is a really nice feature where you can split cuts by a specific distance and then cap the open surfaces all in one action when doing loop cuts or using the knife tool.

Its super useful for details like panel breaks or shadow gaps in architectural projects.

Would love to see a similar feature in Blender.
