Any Color for Grouping / Collections

Maybe a little bit silly but, I use Blender for Archviz and always have many parts in my buildings that I create. For example: a group for main building and than a group for windows, doors etc. For wich I use the color option in blender wich for me is extremely helpful The thing is, there are only 8 colors available....

Maybe it is an idea to have some sort of color/picker wheel, just like you have with the RGB shader node so that it is possible to quickly make your own different colors.

Proper Group coloring is quite essentially deeper topic

My man/woman/person, I assume you're talking about Color Attributes, but those are only displayed if your viewport is set to show attribute colors. You can just set your viewport to show material colors instead, and assign as many materials to as many different parts of your mesh as you like. Materials each have a viewport display color (completely separate and detached from its shading.)
