Grease Pencil Hybrid Layering

Hey,

I think it would be great to have some kind of hybrid layering within grease pencil objects. Something where if the strokes are in the same Z space then it will follow the 2d layering but if they have different Z spaces then the 3d layering take's precedence? At the moment there are benefits to using both for different reasons but at the moment you can't get the benefits of both at once. I feel like a hybrid layering solution would solve this.
