Quickly See end result of all modifiers by holding : key
Sometimes it much easier to see the end result when we use Subdivision modelling. we can assign a hotkey for that. For example Press and hold ";" to show end result and as soon as I release it, I return back to my modelling. The key may be any that suitable to left hand because it will be quicker.

On the subdivision modifier, right click the realtime button to assign it a shortcut or add it to your quick favorites. Then you can easily toggle subdivision on & off with a shortcut. Problem is, my solution only works for one object at a time. It would be nice to have a global option to turn off subdivisions. Plus, that could speed up orbiting the viewport too if there was an option to do it automatically when viewport navigation slows down.
