VSE needs a cycles modifier for video strip

In blender image nodes I can cause a video to repeat/cycles itself,

but I cannot do the same in the VSE:

This should be added perhaps as a strip modifier. There is a way to added a video sequence but I cannot choose other than an avi or png file (wanted: mp4)
