Can We Integrate All "Conversion" Type Nodes?
Currently, a large number of data conversion nodes (such as Curve to Mesh, Curve to Points, etc.) occupy significant space in the Add Node (ADD Menu) panel. If more such nodes are introduced in the future, the panel will become even more bloated and difficult to navigate.
Is it possible to integrate these functionally similar conversion nodes into a unified node (for example, the "A to B" or "Curve to?" node envisioned in the image)? Users could quickly generate the required converter by selecting "From Type A" to "To Type B."
This would greatly simplify the node interface, improve workflow efficiency, and allow creators to focus more on creation rather than searching through menus for nodes.

It would certainly simplify things, but I think it would make workflow efficiency worse.
Instead of glacing at nodes on the layout and reading distinct headers, I would have to read the content fields of each node to see what they do. It would be like having to open a can of soup just to see what flavor it is.
Good point, but the solution is simple: adapt the header to the content.
And the logic is already there, e.g. for math nodes:
My fear would be instead of how it would be feasible to have all these quite different converter nodes as one under the hood. Math and mix nodes seem quite simple compared to those, it might not be as easy to implement and even less so to maintain. But that's for a dev to say. Plus it would also require changes to the search operators to—like the mix/math nodes—be able to search for the node's mode rather than only the node's name.
