when a dropdown or list contains multiple items beginning with same letter, when pressing that letter condense the list instead of choosing one of them.

open a vector math node, click the operation dropdown and press D for distance. It will choose divide.

It would be better if pressing D changed the visible options to divide and distance so the user can choose the one they want. Otherwise you have to remember which letter to press (in the case of distance the letter is 'i').

The user should also be able to continue typing to eventually only show the one item they actually want in the list, and then press enter to select it.
