Draw Freehand Meshes

This idea is to extend Blender's ability to draw Freehand Curves and being able to draw Freehand Meshes.

Examples of how this can work can be seen in:

A user would be able to select from a predefined set of brushes or objects (or add their own) and draw them out in 3D. The user can choose to have the brush repeat along the drawn line (with the scale changing based on pressure input from a tablet) or extruded along it (with the scale again changing based don pressure input).

Something like this in Blender can already be achieved to an extent by either using the Curve modifier or Curve modifier combined with an Array modifier. However, this is achieved after meshes are made, not at the point of creation.

For a comparison - but in 2D - see Inkscape's Pattern along Path Live Path Effect, which allows a user to repeat or stretch a pattern along a path drawn with the Pen or Pencil tool. tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Paths-LivePathEffects-PatternAlongPath.html

Newer versions of Inkscape allow a user to set a shape (or brush) for drawn paths write.flossmanuals.net/start-with-inkscape/the-pencil-tool/ . These shapes are either ones built into inkscape or a user-selected one. All new paths are given the selected shape.

In effect this just addes the Pattern Along Path Live Path Effect, but it does so at the time of path creation, not forcing the user to do it after the path is created. The benefit of this is a faster workflow and being able to visualise an artwork quicker due to the results being more instantaneous. The same would be true if something like this existed in Blender
