Copy REST position to current POSE position (alt g/r/s doesn't always work)

While working on a rigify rig, I noticed that I was unable to fully reset my pose position back to my rest position using ALT + G, ALT + S, ALT + R to clear pose transforms (with all bones / layers selected). I believe this was caused after editing a bone in edit mode, which updated the rest position of course, but messed up ability to reset transforms (completely) in pose position mode.

Currently, there is ability to 'apply pose to rest' but not the opposite (copy rest to pose). As of now, I believe I likely have to rebuild the rig (not a big deal atm since I don't have lots of poses, but could be a real bad situation if I was way down the road and needed to update any bones in edit mode).

Some constraints need to be updated after making edits. Rigify in particular makes use of several Stretch-To constraints which must have their length reset. I'm eventually going to add a tool to automate this to my rigging addon, but I haven't got the time to work on it at the moment. I'll try to remember to leave a comment here when I do so that you can use the tool.

With rigify, try the ''match to rig'' option. Worked for me.

same thing... I was thinking that I too dump or missing something, but looks like I don't. Please make this section a little bit userfriendly. So far I've solve it by copy bones. Pose Mode►ObjectDataProperties►switch to "Rest Position"►EditMode►DublicateBones►delete originals ones►TaDa

I also have run into the problem of Applying the Rest Position to the Pose Position, and muddled around to Remove Constraints, Clear All Transforms, etc. Making this area easier would certainly help those who are learning rigging, like myself.
