Make it easier for beginners to do a final render using the Material Preview Worlds

All material preview worlds should also exist as real Worlds by default in case the user wants to quickly do a test render with one of them.

All user created Worlds should also be listed in the viewport shading panel so they can be used the same way the default worlds are used in Material Preview.

When the Scene World checkbox is active, changing the thumbnail will change the actual Scene World used in final renders.

It's a really good idea but the design could be improved (not visually, I mean implementation-wise).

The 3D viewport uses simple HDR images as background, they are different from a World datablock which can contain anything. Also, if you include these HDR in the list of Worlds, when you save a .blend it would save these as well making the files larger.

I think this should leverage on the Asset Browser. Built-in HDRI (and MatCaps) could become "system assets" that Blender ignores on save unless they are made "real assets".

The World properties could list "System Assets + User-made World data-blocks" with a clear separation. The same goes to the World picker in the 3D Viewport, it could list both.

When the Scene World checkbox is active, changing the thumbnail will change the actual Scene World used in final renders.

This can be tricky, since Worlds can be linked from other scenes or other .blend files even. It needs to be communicated well.

Overall a good idea, let's polish the proposal!

My startup file has worlds that use the file path of the actual hdrs in the Blender program folder. The hdri files are not packed into my blends so it does not really increase the file size. Also we could just do something in the code of blender to make it aware that one of these built in defaults was being used and not need to save much data about it. I really just want to do something to make beginners not ask why they don't have a background in their first render EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. !!!

I have tried adding my favorite worlds to the Asset Browser but for some reason I just find it annoying. I have to open the asset browser, open the right library, look in the right collection and its just feeling like too many extra steps compared to this long existing area of the UI that has always felt very convenient.
