Animation f-curve spring dynamics Modifier
For a motion graphics workflow, a dynamics Modifier on the animation f-curves would be great.
Basically, it would use the velocity going into a keyframe to calculate spring/overshoot or bounce dynamics based on user-defined frequency and decay variables.
A Javascript expression implementation of this in After Effects is described here on MotionScript.com , but I'm sure there would be much better references for spring inertia math out there by now.
Would tackle this myself if I had the math and coding know-how to get this into an add-on.

That'd be a great addition. I'm using those inertia expressions in After Effects quite often, and in 3ds max I'm using a controller named "Float Spring", which basically works the same way on your keyframes. It's a nice, non-destructive way to add secondary motion to your animation.
that exist already, its an interpolation mode, select your keyframe (outgoing) and hit T, then select one of the type of interpolations
* @Luciano A. Muñoz Sessarego * I've seen these, but they're not quite what I'm after. The interpolation mode approach doesn't allow enough control, I'm looking for something that would do basic math based on the velocity change before and after a keyframe.
