Select multiple Layers and Groups

It let's you selects stroke instead of layers to do the same things you need.

Now that Shape Keys supports multi-selection, Can this functionality be ported over so we can Multi select Grease pencil layers and groups?

For drag and dropping and also for merging down layers , or applying masks to multiple layers?
