Auto save quick favourites menu items
Currently the new quick favourites menu items are saved into the userpref.blend only after we manually save our settings after adding an item to the quick favourites.
This would be more user friendly if it was automatically saved each time an item was added.
Maybe the favourite items can be saved as a text file like the bookmarks and recent files.

Yes! And Item reordering is also much desired.

More generally I think of a dedicated way of organizing quick favourites. For instance by creating buttons for each of them and drag and drop for convenient rearranging those in different categories . Perhaps in a Norton Commander way of moving items-i mean two panels ? Is there an addon for that yet ? I think a GSOC project was about it... Anyone knows please where the development is going ?
The text file could be an auto-registered Python script that tells Blender to create the quick favorites again.
