Request for the ability to save renders in AP0 color space (to be Future Proof)
AP0 color space covers the whole spectrum of light visible to the human eye. Currently Blender doesn't seem to be capable of this. We can save renders in AP1 color space (by using OpenExr file format), but that's quite there. Any devs wanna change this? I'm sure a lot of people would be grateful for that, including me and my friends. Peace.

Blender can't even display properly on monitors with a wider gamut than sRGB in Windows 10 and Linux. There is no profile correction. I endorse this feature, but it's the last on a long list of colour-based support Blender needs before it's viable.
This not a valid request because you can already use the ACES OCIO config file and output files in AP0 and AP1 from Blender. github.com/imageworks/OpenColorIO-Configs
Be careful: AP0 is a very large gamut and not recommended for rendering, ACEScg is made for that. It uses a smaller gamut (AP1). Use it as the working space for rendering and compositing, then you can store files in AP0.
* @Vincent Girès * Good to know, thanks.
That would be fantastic
