2.8 Bug/Problem with UI Report
Hi , the new method is not really adapted for all situations ( for my case and A LOT of other cases: two screens)
by just having the possibility to move all the text on the bar left or right , it resolve the problem, easely !!

it looks like you're using a dual monitor setup? if so have you tried to split it into two windows? you might find it works better than it used to even if the same annoyances are there.
(past experience is why i imagine you're using a single blender window over what i presume to be dual monitors.)
if you just never learned how to do that you can hold shift then click and drag one of the corners of the editors to pop open a new one.
@Josh Strawbridge: eat more memory , less performance
@dodododorian: does it? i mostly just found it really annoying how i had to click to focus one window or another before i could use a hotkey in it. that alone kept slowing me down more than the benefits it offered. if it focused the window on mouse hover i might be willing to make that tradeoff since i'm not using the full performance of my comp most of the time as it is.
Exactly! That's why I specified that the tool settings should remain in the 3D view and not in the new bar. Which makes no sense for Blender's flexibility. I mentioned it in my post : here
