VSE: Better Text editing window
Two things we need in particular for the text editing area of the Text Strip properties:
- The ability the expand/contract the text area with a widget in the corner of the text box
- Some of the convenience found in other text based tools in blender.
Attatched is an example.

There is no multi-line text entry widget in Blender. Only the Text Editor allows this functionality, but that's an Editor, and you can't place an editor in the sidebar panel only when a text strip is selected. BTW. set the tag as Sequencer on your proposal, or it will not be found when looking through suggestions for the Sequencer.
I remember Campbell wanted to add a multiline textbox widget - it would be nice in a few places, but I think it wasn't a high priority.
"The ability the pull the text area up or down" -- please clarify.
* @jeric_synergy * Seems to me that it's quite clear with the image posted. Having a pull-down "gizmo" to increase the size of the text area, similar to how most lists are presented within the Blender UI (vertex groups, shape keys, materials, etc).
