Saving Alt-B clipping view
With complex topology the Alt-B clipping view is essential to look at cross sections of the mesh. Using this for the Mirror modifier is even more essential since an alternative, turning off "Display modifier in viewport," results in the mesh being altered with Mirror turned off. However, once the custom clipping view is turned off to quickly see the whole mesh again (especially important for mirror), the custom clipping view is lost and must be recreated.
Being able to quickly switch a custom clipping view on and off during editing would be amazing, and I'd be willing to sufficiently pay for it!

Maybe some kind of clipping box modifier / object (object that would clip everyhting in scene - or listed objects - or collection) could be useful. Especially in complex topology when retopologyn object. like photogrammetry softwares (3dflow zephyr, realitycapture, agisoft metashape)
