Golden Spiral connecting ColourRamp

There should be the Option "spiral" to connect two colours (instead of linear or constant for example). In the image you can see, why its handy :) Best regards!

maybe this helps? instagram.com/p/CIS4XwqDJLS/

here you can get the full hue Spectrum in one color ramp. You can set the second control to a light blue (hue = 0.66 and Saturation to about 0.1) and you will get a similar spiral gradient like in your example.

How it will work with 0.5 blue and 1.0 red? How it will work with 3 points? Is there universal and documented algorythm?

HSV-far + curved input work well for me.

* @ Vyacheslav * I second this. It seems like a really cool concept, but I'm curious how it actually works as I've never heard of this before. Could OP upload some more examples?

<3 love that idea.

But how about b-spline? So user could add vertex and make what ever color ramp easily.

Also, it looks, you can do it with custom nodegroup. At least for 2 colors, where it is most useful and simple. You have radial cordinates H(Azimuth) and S (Radius).

This is pretty neat. Never heard of this before, but if it's a common thing then I don't see why it couldn't be added to that dropdown menu
