Printable User Manual
Often-times one would like to sit under ones' favorite shade tree and read a manual without facing a monitor, leaving the computer for a while. Im new to Blender, but not to 3D and I realise this request might be considered somewhat romantic and regressive. I also realise Blender is under constant development and a physical manual would be impractical as far as updating it. However, a printable pdf of the core manual and seperate printable pdf's of the updated material would enhance the learning experience of Blender immeasurably and not unreasonable to set up the html in some way to permit this. Thus I submit my request, and look forward to learning Blender. Thank you

You can download the current manual as a zip of HTML files...
docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/
From there you may be able to use an Epub editor (like Sigil for instance) to compile them to a single file.
Hey Craig,
As you said, Blender is currently under heavy development and many things are changing including keymaps and features so at the moment its not very beneficial to make a printable documentation.
In addition, Blender is a massive program with many areas (video editing, compositing, scripting, modeling, rendering, nodes, animation, sculpting, etc) so printing everything would require quite a lot of pages.
I personally think the best way to get into any program is to stick to one part that you enjoy and or want to learn more about and practice it.
If you still insist on printing however, perhaps you could head over to the documentation (which is currently outdated in many areas) and print specific things you are interested in. Although apparently there is a zipped manual.
Regardless I hope you manage to find a way that works for you! :)
