Small Feature request - Remainder render time or Approximation of Time render

Hello,

I have used Blender for some time now and one thing that I find myself do almost each time is try and calculate how long a render will take once it has started. Based on how much time it takes to render one frame times the amount of frames to render I get an 'approximation' of how long it will take the render to finish. It would be helpful when in the render window, at the top left, an extra column would show with the remainder time of the render once rendering has started. Or a dropdown in the output properties where you could see before rendering an 'approximation' of how long it will take to render your project. Knowing an approximation of how long a render will take helps me organize my work better. I want to emphasize on approximation being the keyword here. Where the approximation would be based on 1 rendered frame of your choise of the project you're working on.

Thanks for listening,

Rendertime estimation already exists. If you mean "Full animation render time estimation", you must know that it makes no sense: it would be useful/correct only for animations where almost nothing changes, so that every frame takes about the same time to be rendered. In those cases it's very easy to do the math yourself (you sit in front of a computer afterall) after the first frame is done, and therefore know how much time the whole process will take to finish. In all the other cases, where objects lights and viewing angle change in time, there's no way any app could know how long any frame will take.

I think there's an add-on that does that bundles with blender, but you're right, it should show estimated time by default.
