'Open File Location' button.
Since we can't delete files from the internal file browser anymore could we get a button to pop open a OS file browser window in the same folder location? Would be handy in the 'File' menu also for the Blender file's location that is being edited.

If this is a workaround for not being able to delete in the File Browser, I'd like to know why this is no longer possible. Most application file browsers allow for this, I don't know why Blender's shouldn't (especially since it already has in the past).
* @Jason van Gumster * It was disabled because it was really dangerous. It did not use the system trash, and so you could permanently delete your data with no recourse.
It will not be re-enabled until it can use the system trash.
You can already do this. Cmd-click on the document icon in the window header. This opens the file path and if you click the folder it opens the parent folder. Works on any app on the Mac.
* @billrey * I'm on a Windows box.
