Datablocks Need to have a TrashBin folder for when u press X ( issue with long names not showing the 0 in front )

My point maybe was not clear ,but its how the Datablocks are very confusing ,like CaptainDisillusion said , other programs have a similar thing to datablocks ,but if something is Deleted its deleted from your view , so when u click an X the material Disappears (even tho its still in the memory)

like it should need some kind of "TrashBin folder" so when u press an X you know its gone , expecially when it has a long name its hard to tell

Its time to remove the Animation Unlink or link ... it is one of the worst approaches to removing animations

everytime i export an fbx its size is Huge , takes 30 minutes to export an animated characters
and over 10 hours to import in Unreal Engine 4 , why? because it creates trash animations/ i can't delete the over 30 nonsensical useless animation

What would work ,even if the code is kept the same , at least better documentation or some coding on top of it to make it more understandable and less Abstract as it is Now

Captian disillusion has complained about something related indirectly as well youtu.be/1qSTcxt2t74

For what it's worth, this probably has more to do with the FBX exporter (and by extension, the trickiness of exporting to the format itself) than anything related to Blender datablocks.

@Jason van Gumster:

yes that was me going on a rant sorry about that

that's my main point again sorry for talking too much about me being frustrated with the FBX like it should need some kind of "TrashBin folder" so when u press an X you know its gone , expecially when it has a long name its hard to tell

Yes, it should be more visible or at least more people should know about it.

Currently, you have to hold Shift and click on the X icon to make the datablock orphan, and then go to the outliner to delete orphan datablocks, or open or close your file
