Grease Pencil faded taper toggle

This is kind of a bug and a feature request...

When strength pen pressure (1) is pressed (on) and thickness profile (2) is turned on, the primitives (3), when used result in a faded taper (4)... However, when strength pen pressure is turned off (5), the taper is solid (6).

So as a feature request, can a toggle be added next to the strength slider (7) to make it more accessable and less confusing?

Which kind of leads to a possible bug... the taper shouldn't really work with closed primitives IMO.

Edit: Also, the yellow markers, should be translucent... lining up strokes is pretty hard when you have a dot covering where you want to place the end point!
