Give us a "use transform " option whenever we can use an object 's coordinates on modifiers.

For example in the array modifier we can select object offset and then create an empty object and use it as the offset to rotate the array around a object or change the scale of the of the elements of the array.

That can lead to situations where you have tons of empty objects on your scene, which require extra work to organize.

What I propose is the option for us to just use a transform, ie. position, rotation and scale , which only shows up on the modifiers interface, that way we don't have to think about creating extras objects just so we can change arrays, displacement modifiers, mirrors and so on. There could also be a small check option that would allow to show a gizmo representing that transform on 3D view when we edit or whenever made modifications to that transform.

This is a rough sketch of how this feature could be implemented Edit: another smart way of implementing this would be to always have a "use transform" option on the object dropdown lists.

Yes, an implicit pivot point for modifiers. Like in M... ups! :) Maybe, instead of yet another gizmo, a button to get LocRot from the Cursor.

use empty

***@mod moder *** I know we can use empties, but as I pointed out that leads to a workflow with a lot of overhead where you have to keep track which empty does what, just a lot of extra work to organize something that could be integrated on the interface. The option to use empties and other objects would still be there ofc.
