consistent brush size in texture paint mode

Screenshot (170).png it would be very useful if this was in texture paint mode so when i or anybody else would zoom in or out, the brush size will be the same

I never use texture paint (due to it being so underdeveloped, not because I don't want to) so I never realized that wasn't a thing. It's an essential functionality for sure.

This is in discussion for awhile and has been repeated here a few times now. Currently, in the Texture Paint workspace the workaround is painting directly in the Image Editor on the left to get exact brush dimension and then on the right you get the conical spray variation.

in my opinion texturing in the image editor in blender destroys the point of having 3d texture paint mode in blender , rather just paint in gimp or krita then

After the last 10 years of using Blender as my daily painter I can assure you that there is more than enough reason to paint in Blender versus a dedicated single 2d application. My comment was directed only at the OP user's desire to have more finite control over the brush radius in the 3d view and a compromise for now is to make use of that in the 2d editor for fine precision work - just like you have to use the 2d editor to access the Threshold control of the Fill tool, and the Clone Tool's access to move the clone source around like a stencil.
