Passpartout gizmo for camera view
It would be handy to add some passpartout gizmo button under all the gizmos, personally for my workflow I constantly turn it off.
As an interaction, a click could toggle it off/on, and click and hold would let you control the strength

This is already available in the sidebar View panel:
No need for a dedicated gizmo, you can right-click assign a shortcut to it, or add it to your Quick Favorites. Otherwise we'll end up with gizmos for every single option and it'll get crowded quite fast.
Instead, maybe shortcut/add the passepartout checkbox to quick favorites?
Agree. Out of all the 2D viewport gizmos that could be useful, this one is too niche and one-time use to deserve a 2D gizmo, IMHO.
