Add an option to disable Volume Motion Blur in Cycles
While the addition of Volume Motion Blur to Cycles in Blender 3.2 is great, it seems to come with a massive increase in resource usage when trying to render things like smoke simulations. Specifcally, the "Compute volume mesh" stage of the render can have extremely high CPU and RAM usage for large simulations, the RAM usage being far beyond what is used by Cycles for the same simulation prior to the addition of Volume Motion Blur.
Having the option to toggle this feature would allow more users to continue to make use of Blender and Cycles on lower-end hardware than they can with the feature enabled. Furthermore, there might be instances where users want renders of volumes without having blur applied.

You can turn motion blur off for specific objects, so as long as your volume is an object rather than part of the world, you should be able to do this already. (In the object properties menu in the sidebar)
Thank you! I knew about that option for individual objects, but didn't think it was functional for volume motion blur, as the volume motion blur calculations were still happening even with Motion blur turned off entirely in the Cycles render sidebar settings. The individual object "Motion Blur" check box was checked, but faded (greyed out), which I believe is intended to indicate it's currently non-functional due to other settings.
So actually a bug, I suppose, and not a missing feature. But thank you so much for clueing me in to this!
