Laptop user menu space saver gone? Hidden?
Hi everyone. 2.7x had an option in the Info Header(?) to collapse the menus, saving space. Did that go bye-bye? Any else use that?
I propose that "collapse menus" command be brought back to 2.8 from the Netherworld for those on small screens.

As mentioned, the feature is still there. Archived.
Is Ctrl+Alt+Space not what you're looking for? There's quite a few options under View in the 3D viewport too.
it's still there, RMB on menu > Header > Show Menus [on 2.80 + 2.81 win10x64], if that is what your looking for, but it will not save with the startup file
it seems that borderless is gone, shame, such a waste of space
Do you have a screenshot of where this was? I was never even aware of this feature, but it sounds useful and possibly an odd omission.
I'm sorry. I don't have one. Apparently it isn't available in 2.79x either. I use my laptop rarely for blender now so I didn't realize it was missing.
What it did was collapse all the info bar menus HORIZONTALLY. That is the view, render, window and help menus would be stacked vertically under the File menu and then of course the sub menus cascaded sideways as the mouse covered each as is normal.
I usually zoomed in to the area between File menu and the next (so no menu is highlighted} in the info bar and clicked with modifier keys (cmd, option and or shift I've forgotten the combination) which gave you 2 choices where you choose the Collapse menus. * @Logan Preshaw *
