more useful 3d cursor
if we can rotate and zoom viewport camera around 3d cursor , it's so helpful in modeling and in a scene with lots of objects , and i wish 3d cursor became a temporary pivot for objects rotation and scale

This is how 3D Cursor work like since beginning of Blender. Change Pivot type to Cursor in 3dView Header.
