Export/Save As, Selected Objects, as Blend file.
Export and Save As, Selected Objects as Blend file. There is no option to Save an Object(s) or Collection(s) to a Blend file as separate objects. If I have a complex Scene, and want to Save Selected Objects as separate Blend files, there is no way, that I know of. Same for Export Selected as Blend file, since we can Export in a variety of file formats, why not a Blend file. Seems like a curious omission.

yes.... this is incredibly weird that blender doesnt offer this feature.

Agree, and not only objects but other data blocks like materials etc.

* @IIIFGIII * Please be assured, I did do a search, but unless I am able to put in the correct terms, I did not get a return. This HAS been suggested before, and got up voted 40 times, before disappearing under flow.
* @Paul Hartsuyker * I sit here for a while and remember things. So I replace search sometimes, if I can :)
Here some hint - switch to "Top " then search for some 1 key word ( 2 and more give worse result ).
