Poly Build Tool - Limit selection via normals

The Poly Build Tool is a powerful tool for retopology, and its updates have made retopology in Blender far easier for artists. But, it starts to fail in more dense meshes as its automatic selection will regularly select vertices and edges on the opposite side of a mesh, slowing the artist down as they try to get the tool to select the right edge or vertex.

So what is needed is an option to limit the selection of these edges and vertices. A potential option is using the vertex normal direction of vertices to do just that, limiting selection to only vertices that face the perspective/orthographic cameras, and any vertex normal whose direction is over 90 degrees from the view of the camera be unselectable by the Poly Build Tool.

As a caveat, I'm not a developer, just an artist. So I don't know if this is actually possible within Blender, but its a feature I'd like to see added to an already great tool.

and all problems are gone. 🤞
