Include/Exclude objects from AO detection

Currently, the AO shader node has an 'Only Local' option to exclude occlusion detection from other objects in the scene. To improve this I'm looking for a way to control which objects can affect (or not) Ambient Occlusion , similarly to Light/Shadow linking. node-types_ShaderNodeAmbientOcclusion.png

Adding an 'include/exclude' section under 'Shading' in the Object Properties tab to would be a great addition. Having AO detection control on a per-object basis would prove especially useful for preventing certain "parasite" objects in the scene from creating unwanted artefacts in the AO. Yes, this would be very wellcome. It would be useful for preventing animated objects from casting AO in cases where the AO is used as a dust and dirt mask.
