Exporting your animation as multi-layered 2d file

I have an idea for a blender feature or plugin . It should have at least two panels one for a timeline similar to that of 2d animation software and the other for the list of objects assigned to each layer. So you could use blender to create characters and scenes and and animate them, and then you use this plugin and determine the frame rate, assign objects to each layer per frame, background and foreground layers , and then capture the view port animation, from the camera perspective , along with sound and save it as .ora , or .psd and then open it in any standard 2d software for rotoscoping .

There are a list of important features that may enrich this plugin:

Objects come in and out of layers during the animation . So a good idea is to add frames manually according to the frame rate you assign , which may change throughout the animation. Each frame corresponds to the animation at a certain point of time .

The layers of each new frame inherits the list of object assigned to the previous frame's layers, and you can edit this list of objects. So when you add the following frame , the layers of the new frame would inherit the list of object assigned to the previous frame's layers and so on.

You should be able to capture one frame at a time .

You could choose to render a certain layer using eevee . And also you could use grease pencil to enhance some of the layers.

The idea is you could start with blender and export your work to something like tvpaint or tahoma 2d for rotoscoping.
