LOD and camera cull in EEVEE

Since eevee is described as being similar to a game engine rendering engine I am surprised that it doesn't support LOD's for objects in the scene and camera culling by default. LOD's could work from distance to the selected camera the same as camera culling.

Frustum/camera culling is already a thing in both Eevee and Workbench, in the viewport and in renders. You can do LODs with geometry nodes.

Maybe I have missed it somehow. Where is camera culling options?

Nowhere. It's always on, as it does not make sense to have it off for a rasterizer. There is no benefit, there is no reflecting offscreen things or whatever else. If you use fly navigation a bunch, you may have noticed it breaking every once in a while as some objects become invisible.

If you're looking for better Eevee performance, if you have the VRAM to spare, you can launch multiple Blender instances and have each render with Eevee. Other people have made scripts automating this. You can expect literally 2-3x faster performance with 2, 3, 4 or more Blender instances, however that also means 2, 3, 4x the VRAM usage. Eevee is not super duper optimized and hopefully Eevee-next will be fixing that.

LODs are available in the UPBGE game engine.
