Outliner sub modes- Material, Lights, Textures/video, Geonoodes, Curves/grease pencil and other

Currently the outliner in blender only shows objects of the scene which is ok for now . The purpose of outliner is to list out all the entities present in the scene so why just limit it to objects only. I know we can filter some objects as well but that is limited to objects only. The way i am proposing is to have a mindset of any data present in the scene just like we have sub-mode in 3d viewport (edit,sculpt,weight-paint etc) for working in specific objects. This will have benefits like-

  1. Say there is texture sub-mode, here we can see how many textures we have in the scene, we can rename them and add suffix like color, gloss, bump. we can simply select objects of those textures. Also there can be function like edit in image editor (which user can define in preferences like GIMP, krita, photoshop). also for videos either we can use built-in compositor or assign editor in preference.
  2. For materials sub-mode, there are list of all materials , here the funtion like sync-selection of outliner and 3d viewport . the user can make workspace of 3 view (1. 3d viewport, 2. shador editor, 3. Outliner-material), here user can have function to mark the material as File-asset or Global asset. i know this function is already present in asset browser but sub-mode outliner can set the mindset of artist to see and work on specific things.
  3. For lights outliner mode- Other render engines have seperate penels called light lister for managing lights in the scene where they can edit multiple lights at the same time. turn on-off, change their intensity, kelvin-temp.. Here we can also integrate light-group function. the ability to select multiple lights and alter their values simultaneously.

Gave you tried to set the display mode to Blender File or Data API*?
