more filters/effects -> VSE & Compositing <- and the same in both
Will be great create a lot of effects and filters for Blender post-process, shaders runing frame by frame and have the same effects in both spaces VSE and Compositing.
Also we need a denoiser in VSE and a fully video editor, capable to make a complex work with video and audio. We like artists need in every space of Blender a total flexibility to promote the creativity, Blender it's a software to create, not only focused in realism or NPR for example, we need effects and filters to get strange results and play with the creativity, i talk like an artist from the fine arts
you feel like Blenders is missing something if you look the effects and filter form: Kdenlive, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects, for example.

This has been requested a lot over the years in various forms. The problem comes down to a difference in design between the Compositor and the Sequencer. The latter is meant to work in real time while the former simply isn't. To include features from the Compositor in the Sequencer would make it even slower than it currently is.
TL;DR this is a lot of work and could lead to worse performance in both the Compositor and the Sequencer.
* @Jason van Gumster * the fact is: i work in blender about 8 years and want to edit and work my videos in Blender but i have a lot of limitation, am researching now about Davinci Resolve but i like more work inside of Blender. I know Blender is focused on much things at the same time, and that slowly the progress in all spheres...

Blender 5.0 will introduce a compositor modifier letting you add compositing nodes on video strips:

I've made a proposal for this . If someone wants to give feedback I'd like to hear it. That way the idea can be ironed out.
