Apply lattice effects on its child objects
when using a lattice, in many cases you are applying it to more than one object. After lattice deformation, at the moment of to apply it, you need to do it individually with every object. Would be nice a single command for to apply lattice modifier to all its "child" objects

hi, thanks for the support and sorry if there any orthographic error. Actually I have explained bad what I really mean. It's not at the moment of parenting when methodoly would be better. It's when lattice have been already used, and you want to convert the modifier to a real transformation, with the button "apply" of modifier tab.
So my proposal is instead of pressing that button in every child object, to press a single button in the parent, which is the lattice. I think it has sense.
This is easily solved by using the <kbd>Alt</kbd>+<kbd>C</kbd> > Mesh from Curve/Meta/Surf/Text operator. When you use that on a mesh with modifiers, it applies all modifiers on all selected mesh objects.
thanks for the tip ;) that also can be done currently with the option "apply all modifiers" of a new modifiers add-on of last the RC.
Unfortunately, that is more a destructive modelling workflow, because you are applying all modifiers, with no change to keep some of them.
The thing is, unless the Lattice modifier is the first one in your stack, you can't effectively apply just the Lattice modifier. You'd need to apply the Lattice modifier and any other modifier that's before it in the stack. So for that reason, being able to selectively apply just the Lattice modifier on a bunch of objects is really uncommon and infrequent behavior.
I respect that vision, but not agree. I think lattice is a kind of modifier very flexible. No mater which place in the stack it is, have similar effects. Can be used occasionally, and when you get it desired effect, apply it and delete for no to acumulate too much objects in the scene or modifiers as well. I use lattice often for to "sculpt" many objects at the same time. So useful.
Isscpp, the Ctrl+L doesn't work if there are multiple modifiers on the latticed object.
afaik it will copy all the modifiers, even unwanted ones
That's why I wrote to use the “copy attributes menu” addon. It allows you to copy only selected modifiers. ;)
Or Ctrl+L "Modifiers" with last selection on the object that has been parented. And also, there's a typo in the title.
You can already do this if you apply the lattice modifier using parenting:
The lattice modifier will be applied to all selected objects.
I know this is a kind of a workaround, but go into add-ons, find and allow "copy attributes menu" and then active select the object that has a lattice while having other objects that should have the lattice also selected and press ctrl+C and choose "Copy Selected Modifiers".
