[UI] ~ "+ New Collection" option to create sub-collections inside empty collections
I opened a task on developer.blender.org (read here: developer.blender.org/T73821 ) thinking it was some kind of a bug, but I got dismissed with a somewhat confusing reply from the staff. And they suggested I should post it here.
So, apparently it is a design choice, that you cannot create a sub-collection inside an empty collection through the "M" (Move to collection) shortcut.
Honestly, I find it very annoying and it surely breaks my "flow" when managing a scene, that I have to scroll through the outliner, find the right collection, right-click to create a sub-collection and
only then
I can hit "M" to move the objects.
On the other hand, if the collection already has at least 1 sub-coll, then you can go straight through the "M" menu, to create a new one.
Nonsense!!
If my point is not clear, the task on developer.blender.org contains screenshots that better explain what I'm talking about.

Enable Collection Manager addon in 2.82...its one of the best things they have added.
* @Pascal 0 * We need an addon that lists all the other addons that should just be on by default (or built into blender) and warns us if some are not turned on.
