Geometry nodes smart cache
Geometry nodes evaluates the entire node tree any time a change is made to any node or a different node is connected to the viewer, even if it doesn't affect any of the previous nodes. It would be great if Geometry nodes would smart-cache the system and only reevaluate nodes that would actually change when a change is made (so any nodes connected after the changed node).

I would also love a user added "cache" node that would cache the data at that point in the network. When activated, the data will be cached to a temp location on disk, and then future evaluations would read that cache. If that file disappears, it will be recached. If the node is deactivated (or maybe it has a check box) then the usual network will be evaluated.
It would be great. Meanwhile you can use Bake Node to easa out things. If you have some heavy set of nodes that you don't modify all the time, you can bake it, and it wont be calculated until you bake it again.
True, but much less convenient.
